Henry Gibbons

Henry Gibbons is a true southern guy, born in Augusta Ga, raised in South Florida where he attended Performing Arts School hoping to have a career in the entertainment industry on Broadway. Little did he know that his efforts would lead him to the Evolution stage right here to the city of Brooklyn, NY to show off his talents.

His first job was ironically in a Beauty Supply Store at an early age but he decided to go to beauty school after attending the Universiy of Augusta Ga. He realized that it wasn’t for him. He started to experiment on all of his family members and his mom saw something in him that he didn’t see in himself. Raw talent!

Henry received his training at Mar-Jans Beauty School Augusta Ga and Lanier Technical Institution Atlanta, Ga. So he is actually dually licensed in Ga as well as NYC. He has worked in numerous upscale salons like Advantageous Hair Studio, Beauty Fetish, and Super Cuts Salon Inc.,Atlanta.  He takes pride in himself in doing short precision crop hair cutting, long hair, long layers, relaxing, styling, and creative roller setting. Texture is no new thing for him because he has worked on all types of textures and styles. After a recommendation and consultation you will be guaranteed to leave looking like a rock star!

He also believes in healthy hair to the fullest. His notion about complex hair styling is that it’s not always better. Simplicity, sometimes edgy, always on the cutting edge, that’s what makes a great stylist!  He gets extra brownie points for his great southern personality.
